Suzanne
King
Suzanne has a passion for connecting her clients to artworks that give them joy and building meaningful collections. She brings more than 20 years of experience providing US and global private and corporate collectors with advisory for acquisitions spanning Old Master to Contemporary. She has built strong relationships with established and emerging contemporary artists and secondary market insiders, providing her clients with unique access to a wide range of works and artist studios. Beginning her career in Boston with a leading Masterworks gallery, Suzanne has served as Director for several distinguished US galleries where she honed her in-depth knowledge of Impressionist, Modern, Post War, and Contemporary Art and markets. She is a graduate of Northeastern University and has also completed studies with: the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; the Museum of Modern Art, New York; and the Appraisers Association of America, NY, through which she maintains her USPAP compliance (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice is the recognized ethical and performance standards for the appraisal profession). She has been a featured guest on NECN’s New England Dream Home discussing a personally-curated, private collection of important, investment caliber print works by Modern and Post War Masters, and original paintings and sculpture by Contemporary artists. Additional select professional distinctions include contributing to local/national magazines to share Fine Art and collecting expertise, and serving in integral roles for special arts initiatives such as Circus! Art and Science under the Big Top, featuring works by Matisse, Picasso, and Tissot, amongst others, and exhibited by the Bruce Museum, Greenwich, CT; and Board Member for the inaugural Visual Violins – an art and music fused charity spearheaded by the Longwood Symphony Orchestra, Boston. Suzanne was recently honored with her selection as judge for the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, 2023 Scholastic Art Awards.
